Nobody needs fair treatment more than a child and nobody is more helpless against injustice than a child. Before the little soul can grow up and fend herself, it is the responsibility of her family as well as society to ensure that she gets every facility she is entitled to and she doesn't lose out on anything due to her gender. One of the most crucial aspect of childhood which should be dealt with utmost sensitivity is education. For a girl to become a super woman, the right to education becomes one of the most important stepping stones. However, it is unfortunate to mention that a girl child is often deprived of this right especially if she is competing with a fellow brother for the same. 

The importance of education in a girl's life as compared to boys is perceived differently. It is a world where a lady needs to stay a step ahead for her own protection, so the importance of education in her life should be seen more attentively as compared to a male. But in place of assisting her to empower herself, her family invests their thoughts towards depriving her for the same making her even more powerless rather than bringing out the super woman.

This discrimination is so deep rooted in third world countries that the girl child develops a mindset where she believes that she doesn't deserve to be equally treated like a male child. Some parents state that the reason behind reluctance of sending their daughter to school concerns her security. Her travel to school, treatment by fellow boys and male teachers concerns the parents regarding her security. This is where parents need to prioritise a girl's future over her present. Little faith and hard work in part of the parents which can help the girl reach school can play a very important role in shaping her educated future.

Certain facts can be stated to highlight the importance of education in producing a better next generation. The problem of increasing number of girls who are getting pregnant during their adolescence can be curbed to a huge extent if they are educated properly. A learned woman is observed to be capable of becoming an independent super woman who takes the smart decision of keeping her family small. Care and upbringing of the upcoming generation is also favourably influenced if the lady of the house has read enough.

Despite of all the above stated reasons, many family hesitates to take this honorable step of teaching the girl child. To set the girl on a path to become a super woman, the government also needs to extend all help possible to the families below a certain economic line so that they are not forced to choose a son over their daughter. Boys are largely preferred because they are expected to contribute more towards the family and the girl is seen as a borrowed asset till she marries. Unless you support a girl today to create her place in the world, you will never know that she is never behind her brother when it comes to taking care of her family.
