There was a time when only men earned. Then women started
earning too and providing for their family which bestowed them with a new
honor. These women were then called “sons of our family”. This prejudice which
accepts success and growth only when it is served in the male pattern is deeply
rooted. It begins even before our birth. A woman nurtures a baby for nine
months before he or she can see the light of the day. An unique and most
tasking effort that cannot be done by any capable soul of male fraternity. But
when it comes to welcoming the new member, more often than not, this enduring
gender is not favored. At times, the superstition and ignorance takes such a
strong hold, that a prospective super woman is killed even before she could
breathe her first air.
